• Production of RFIs to clients’ consultants
• Dealing directly with clients PQSs to build relationships and establish best value for client and protect company values and finances.
• Production of package reports back to client, demonstrating best value options.
• Production of ‘tender event schedules’ demonstrating the timeline of the tender process.
• Production of cost breakdowns for sub-contract package enquiries, from drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Production of interface matrix between sub-contract, equipment and construction activities.
• Issue of mid tender add/omit forms for sub-contractors to demonstrate movement between design stages.
• Taking off of quantities (if required), for all piped and ductwork services.
• Carrying out internal project audits
• Utilising self-created check lists (based on 42 years’ experience) to ensure all aspects of the project requirements are captured.
• Utilising hundreds of established contacts/relationships within the industry, built up over many years.

• Production of cost plans for Mechanical Services, including sub contract elements and take-off all pipework systems, inputting into company software.
• Build up of labour rates to suite, adding into company database.

Taking off all quantities from drawings, listing for order. Gaining quotations for sub-contract packages.

• Taking off all quantities of Ductwork systems.
• Production of submittal to client.
• First 2 years, all produced by hand. Rest of time at company, using Estimation software.
