During 21 years working at Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club my mission statement was to ensure that both members and visitors received the very best service possible on a daily basis.
This was achieved by showing impeccable communication skills combined with a desire to problem solve.
I am immensely proud that I played a major part in achieving major growth in all area's of the club including casual visitors, members, guests, corporate and society golf days together with transforming a depleted membership to full during 2021.
With such a varied job time, management became essential.
I have become an expert in all aspects of the golf industry, including coaching all abilities, club fitting, modern technology, club repairs, rules and not least retail, having ran my own successful golf store for over 8 years.
My club responsibilities included managing and operating the clubs online tee booking service for both members and visitors together with running all our club competitions through the same system.
I have used my 20 years of experience to learn from my successes and mistakes to become a real industry expert, particularly maximizing daily income through the golf course by balancing members, casual green fees and visiting groups including corporate golf days.
I use my love of most sports and current affairs to find common ground and create a rapport with both golfers and staff.
In my spare time I enjoy Golf, Skiing and walking along with a keen interest in most sports.
