  • Due to the fact that this was a relatively new company when I started working for them, I feel I played a valuable role in making it successful
  • I was a site foreman overseeing the development of timber frame apartments and traditional houses
  • My role was to ensure the sites were run properly, safely, to budget, to programme and to the standard on which the client insisted.

  • During a quiet time in the UK, I decided to venture out and was very fortunate to have contacts in Norway
  • I decided to take up a position with a company as a Project Foreman
  • In my role as a Site Manager I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the construction site
  • This involved instructing and co-ordinating all sub-contractors, suppliers and directly employed staff on my site, in order to build to the required programmes, and achieve quality units
  • On a weekly basis, I authorised supplier payments on the site computer via the delivery notes received on site, and checked and authorised all weekly sub-contract and directly employed payments, which were then sent to the office for payment
  • I was also responsible for reporting to the office on a weekly basis, the build progress, materials on site and plant returns.

  • During this period, I worked as a bricklayer for a large subcontractor on various sites across the North West, one of which won the prestigious N.H.B.C 'Pride in the Job' award.

  • After initially starting as an Assistant Manager on a development in Winwick, Warrington, where I successfully helped deliver eight plots ranging from £350,000- £650,000
  • I was then transferred to a development in Eccleston, Chorley
  • In 2015 I was promoted to Site Manager and in my first year achieved the coveted NHBC PIJ Award 2016
  • Setting up a new development in Lowton in 2017, I went onto win another quality award with the LABC
  • During my time on Lowton I won NW Site Manager of the year 2018 and 2020
  • I was promoted to Senior Site Manager in 2018
  • In August 2021 I started a new development in Whiston and went on to win another NHBC PIJ Award in June 2022.

  • This involved visiting numerous vacant and tenanted properties, and assessing them in terms of any maintenance, which was required to make them habitable

  • Adhered to health & safety regulations when conducting on site.
  • Recruited, developed and motivated new members of the team.
  • Reported daily to Construction Director.
