Delivered exceptional customer service by proactively listening to specific questions, in areas of knowledge, I’d often advise customers on how to proceed with their DIY projects. Displayed leadership qualities through being the store manager’s choice in training new colleagues, which involved explaining Wickes standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and avoid injuries within the workplace. In addition, becoming trusted enough by Wickes management to be trained on the Power Pump Truck (PPT) allowing me to achieve targets whilst following safety guidelines. As a Wickes colleague, I was given the responsibility of handling customer deliveries as well as customer click and collects, which involved the duties of ensuring all outgoing deliveries were picked correctly and were loaded onto the City-Sprint van safely. Finally, my greatest achievement during my time as a Wickes colleague is becoming a trained and confident yard banksman which carried a workload of 3-4 lorries per working day.
