I am a highly accomplished and commercially focused senior general commercial lawyer with over 17 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) earned in prestigious, multinational organisations.
Across my career, I've consistently demonstrated a talent for leadership and strategic impact. I've held pivotal roles on global leadership teams, successfully managed and directed large-scale legal and commercial projects, and sat on global committees and boards, underscoring my expertise and versatility in the legal and business realms.
For the last 8 years, I have been a valuable member of two global leadership teams within the Data & Services division, contributing to its approximate $3 billion in global revenue.
My comprehensive legal background is complemented by a Master of Business Administration with distinction, earned from Exeter Business School in 2022.
Strategic NED Leadership: Served as a Non-Executive Director, representing Mastercard on the board of a $50 million minority investment, demonstrating strategic oversight and governance expertise.
Between 2006 and 2010, I built a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, gaining diverse experience in various legal roles. As a self-employed legal consultant at Consortium (IM) LLP, I reported directly to the Board, addressing corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. I also served as temporary in-house counsel at Luup Ltd, focusing on corporate, commercial, and company secretarial issues for a regulated mobile telecommunications payment company. Additionally, I worked with world-renowned banks and hedge funds at RK&O LLP, handling corporate, debt trading, and corporate finance issues. Prior to this, I advised clients on general corporate and commercial law at Clyde & Co and developed a robust understanding of various legal areas during my time as a trainee and paralegal at Bevan Brittan.
