  • My responsibilities as a telemarketer at UK Energy Saving Network were to initiate outbound telephone calls in response to online enquiries regarding loft insulation. The purpose of these calls was to assess the feasibility of the work and to arrange a free survey of the customer’s loft, enabling an accurate quote for loft insulation. In order to retain leads, I scheduled callbacks to secure prospective opportunities.
  • During this time, I provided excellent customer service and adapted my communication style according to the client's needs for better understanding. I handled objections tactfully to maintain positive relationships. I had further developed my confidence with talking with other people in this role, especially in handling difficult questions that I may not be prepared for ahead of time, and made sure to maintain polite and respectful telephone manners.
  • The commission structure for this job was based on the deals generated by these surveys, so ensuring the quality of the bookings was very important. Therefore, I documented all calls with detailed notes for future reference abiding by Data Protection guidelines. This required attention to detail in order to accurately enter and maintain records in customer database.
