Preparing and delivering intelligence products to clearly and accurately inform decision-making and providing advice on tactical options and ensuring this is delivered on time and clearly to response police officers so they have the right tools and information to deal with the growing diverse communities in London. The tailored police response especially when it comes to community tensions depends almost entirely to the correct intelligence being fed back to officers to ensure Intelligence led Policing.

• Receiving and assessing information on the intelligence system and disseminating to relevant parties, in line with confidentiality, sensitivity and duty of care policies and relevant legislation to ensure intelligence is processed correctly.
• Gathering, researching and evaluating information (in accordance with a defined and agreed collection plan where applicable) to identify gaps and patterns, and informing (de)briefing, tasking and Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA) authorities in accordance with principles of legality, necessity and proportionality.
• Establishing and maintaining networks with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority to ensure appropriate information sharing in support of a timely response and to achieve shared objectives.
• Adhering to all legal frameworks, key working principles, policies and guidance relevant to the role to ensure information and intelligence is handled and processed legally.
• Maintaining awareness of innovation within intelligence to ensure implementation of the latest techniques and tactics, good practices, and information relevant to the role
• My key responsibilities as an Intelligence officer include:

• The primary goal was to ensure agencies act fairly and reasonably, holding the government accountable for its actions. This was achieved by reviewing, triaging, and resolving public complaints regarding NSW government agencies, local councils, and community service providers.
• Managed sensitive information confidentially as part of daily duties; maintained integrity at all times.
• Investigated complex customer complaints to restore faith in our services whilst at the same identifying those with vulnerabilities requiring more urgent intervention.
• Adhered strictly to timeframes whilst conducting investigations and upheld the highest ethical standards.
• Fostered a culture of continuous improvement by analysing patterns in complaints data and implementing changes to streamline responses.
• Used my experience within the Police to deal with complaints from inmates from correctional facilities with NSW. Built a good rapport with inmates as well as Correctional facilities governors whilst remaining impartial to achieve the best possible outcomes.

• Most recently attached to the intelligence unit where intelligence functions are performed as required by emergency response units and proactive/reactive investigation units. This includes researching and identifying relevant intelligence held on various databases for people, addresses, phone and financial data and various other sources and sharing it in fast paced and challenging environment which is crucial for police officers on the ground.
• Previously worked within the criminal investigations division as an investigator dealing with serious and complex crimes. In this department I was able to develop the skills required to investigate matters on my own as well as work with other investigators on the more complex cases. I gained the ability to analyse evidence, identify and manage risks promptly and to effectively communicate with witnesses and victims of crime. I have the skills and compassion to deal with these difficult situations and I have learnt the importance of building trust in the community by sharing the outcomes of our police work. This in itself is very important and it promotes public trust in the police.
• Maintain information sharing agreements by providing relevant information to partner agencies such as probation, rehabilitation agencies and local councils.
• Prior to that, worked as a Safer Parks and Partnership officer addressing anti-social behaviour in parks and open spaces and providing police response to trading standards warrants and other council-led operations.
• Initially I was attached to on an emergency response team for about 6 years where I developed a broad range of policing skills.

• Collaborated with small team to address energy consumption issues through home visits, providing technical support to customers and enhancing their understanding of energy use. Developed teamwork and communication skills while engaging with a diverse community.
• Facilitated productive client meetings ensuring clear communication of complex technical concepts.
• Developed new mechanical systems to improve performance.
• Delivered cost-effective solutions for complex engineering problems.
