This role of the shift manager reports to the Operations Manager, and is responsible for the day to day running of the Thermoforming department, ensuring the highest standards of safety,
production, hygiene, and quality are met, whilst driving forward improvement initiatives.


• Overall responsibility for day to day running of the Shift
• Provide clear leadership for direct reports (Thermoforming Operatives)

• Managing and organising labour utilisation (absence/holidays and temporary workforce) through headcount forecasting, to ensure safe timely delivery of the production plan at optimum cost
• Setting improvement plans and team objectives and monitoring and communicating feedback
• Maximise plant output, quality and efficiency whilst maintaining site safety and BRC/IOP hygiene standards
• Provide information and reports on Thermoforming KPI’s

• Ensure all employees conform to all health and safety requirements. Promote and maintain safe working practices
