Within my course in Education and Early years I have completed 750 hours of work experience within a Reception class and nursery within 2 Years. within the time I have obtained extensive skill and understandings of how educational setting support individual need and routine. I have had the opportunity to work closely to build relationships with parents and carers. Additionally I found m natural ability in working with children with SEND.
I have key work ethics that ensure that I want to do the best and have a strong want for children to have the best chances in life and education. This further assures that want to give each individual need the time and to ensure that individual needs are being met. this also includes the development and use of observations and working closely with outside professionals to ensure that each child is getting the most relevant and individual support they need.
I have a vast experience with in differentiated backgrounds such as being a care experienced individual, this has further.supported me to empathise with others and consider factors that affect children’s learning and development through individual circumstances.
I am one of 13 children, this has given me extensive experience in differentiated ages and need. I have additionally had the role of being responsible for 6 of my younger sibling aged 1-12years old when I was aged 14-15 whilst my parent was working . Therefore from a young age I have been competent in caring for young children, which in turn has supported me in practice with understanding and acknowledging my role and responsibilities.
Finally, I will be travelling to India from May 14th to 31st, to further experience educational systems, schools and cultural differences which will further support my means to learning, teaching and continued professional development.
