I support the delivery of key technical projects across Genomics England research service. The main focus of this work is to improve resiliency, reduce operational risk, embed "secure by design" approach across all engineering teams to enable accelerated delivery of genomic and clinical data. My responsibilities include:

• End-to-end delivery of key technical projects within a multi-functional programme of work
• Establishing and tracking progress against which delivery is managed and monitored
• Identifying and removing blockers through proactive risk escalation and issue management
• Delivery of improvements to the technical process including automation of pipelines, addressing technical debt, reducing critical security vulnerabilities
• Adoption of CAF-aligned Data Security and Protection Toolkit to maintain high security posture and minimise risk
• Ensuring data compliance and adhering to governance standards on data sharing and usage

I oversaw the development and deployment of a Trusted research Environment (TRE) to deliver a secure, GDPR compliant cloud-based solution for data hosting and analysis.

• Managed migration to AWS cloud-based infrastructure and services to securely manage, host and analyse health data
• In partnership with AWS delivered a Trusted Research Environment for the client (TRE build and Config)
• Managed cross-functional team to successfully test and implement new applications (AWS Service Work Bench; egress app, admin app)
• Oversaw cyber security assessment of the TRE solution (audit/remediation/threat modelling)
• Applied Agile product development practices for monitoring project progress and UAT
• Established a transparent research governance framework to integrate and share health data globally
• Supported clients in adoption of new digital solutions

• Provided integrated project and data management support to deliver a large scale transformation programme across two healthcare organisations.

• Provided operational leadership across various networks of the dementia research community and adoption of an application to enroll participants into research studies.
