I am currently a student at Queen's University Belfast undertaking a law degree. I have lots of work history and experience in various different areas which have given me strong time management and communication skills.
I am a dependable, quick learner and can adapt to whatever task I am required to do.
Throughout my employment at Coastways I have worked both as a warehouse operative and as a driver of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes in weight. In my time here I have been a project leader on large projects which deal with sensitive client information.
I engage with customers on a regular basis and have never missed a shift throughout my employment.
This employment was a short internship I completed which was also part of my university studies.
During my four-week internship, I assisted with the following corporate law matters;
reviewing memorandums and articles of association for newly incorporated entities;
drafting board resolutions to appoint and remove directors;
drafting letters of consent for newly appointed directors and resignation letters for those resigning;
drafting board resolutions to address vessel sale and purchase;
drafting board resolutions for change in registered office;
drafting powers of attorney for vessel sale and purchase related matters;
undertaking legal research on foundation companies.
In undertaking the moted tasks I gained an insight into the operation of limited companies and the steps required to complete and close a commercial transaction (the purchase of a yacht).
Although my time as a bartender was a little over a year I was responsible for many tasks including carrying out stock orders, locking up at the end of shifts and dealing with money.
It was also important to follow health and safety guidelines when working as a bartender. This includes keeping the bar clean and changing kegs.
This job helped me with communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as creating a rapport with customers for a personalised service.
My employment at Balmoral Golf club was not limited to a bartender as I also worked at the pro shop at the club.
In my time here I dealt with customers who were both members at the club and guests. In doing so, I used the computer system to book tee times and also dealt with sales of merchandise.
My employment here was a short internship. In my time here I dealt with paperwork for cargo on vessels.
I also communicated with the captain of ships as to where to dock their vessel.
