I am a hardworking and responsible person with wide ranging interests. I have a deep interest in sciences and technology and I am a musician, having studied the cello for over a decade. On leaving school, I worked as an apprentice chef in a hotel kitchen, where I realised that I learn best through practical tasks. I enjoyed the challenge of preparing and delivering high quality food in a stressful environment. During my time in the kitchen, I developed many skills, such as effective communication, multitasking ability, and time management skills. My employer would describe me as an efficient and dedicated member of the team as well as a fast learner.
