Oscar Farren

Law Graduate | Legal Research | Document Review & Analysis

Summary

Law graduate with a First-Class dissertation in Jurisprudence and a top 9% global ranking in IB Higher Level Philosophy. I am naturally curious, people-focused and driven to improve how things work. Supporting the restructure of my family business developed responsibility, commercial awareness and the confidence to take ownership; legal work experience strengthened my research, accuracy and judgement; and working throughout university built strong customer relationships, adaptability and teamwork. I care about doing work properly, succeed best when working with others, and am comfortable challenging established ways of working when I can see a better solution. Technical rock climbing, the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Royal Navy Cadets have reinforced resilience, discipline and considered decision-making under pressure. I want to bring that same energy to Howdens: learn quickly, contribute ideas, get on with the job and help a Legal team that is bold enough never to settle.
