As a current MSc student in Applied Psychology (Mental Health & Psychological Therapies), I combine postgraduate academic knowledge with practical, people-focused experience in caregiving and wellbeing settings. I also hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Psychology. My academic training has equipped me with an understanding of psychological assessment, therapeutic models, and ethical practice. Alongside my academic training, I have gained valuable experience through caring for a family member with learning disabilities and mental health needs, which has deepened my empathy, patience, and understanding of individual challenges. Additionally, my years of working in public-facing roles have helped me develop strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. With excellent communication, organisation, and reflective skills, I am eager to contribute to multidisciplinary teams and support service users with empathy, professionalism, and evidence-based care.
