  • The Lusail Iconic Stadium is a football stadium in the Qatari city of Lusail. The stadium will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup final. The Lusail Stadium, with a capacity of 85,000 at full capacity, is Qatar's largest stadium and one of seven stadiums being converted for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. I oversaw reducing health and safety risks, developing, and implementing health programmes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Actively involved with the CDM (Construction Design and Management), serving as the principal contractor. In this role, I manage the selection of subcontractors health and safety documents and when they resume to the site, ensuring seamless coordination and adherence to safety standards and project specifications and monitoring occupational safety, health, and well-being arrangements during pre-construction and construction.
  • Support the Divisions and Corporate Directorates in satisfying their obligations in respect of the management of Health & Safety within the project by offering support and guidance on health and safety risk assessments that adhere to international legislation and guidance.
  • As the team leader on the Lusail stadium project, I actively participated in accident / incident reports and investigations as part of my proactive measures to ensure that the project scope was met. The scope of work included design and construction of all civil engineering and building work for this section of the Metro network. It has three lines with an approximate overall length of 76 km and 37 stations.
