A final year Ph.D. in Education student awaiting Viva in February 2025 at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. I submitted my PhD thesis on 09/30/24, and I am looking to secure a faculty position as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or similar position to utilize my past and present skills as a language educator, librarian, teacher educator, early childhood educator, and researcher. My career goal is to mentor pre-service and in-service teachers to achieve their best in theory and in practice, and to actively contribute to the overall success of all my students.

As an administrative assistant, I work as a Ward Clerk, which involves keeping the inpatients' medical notes in order, completing admission and discharge processes electronically, attending to internal and external phone calls, and relating with the patients' relatives, amongst other administrative duties. Generally, I work as part of the bank team with other hospital personnel to provide total health and social care to patients.
As a healthcare assistant, I provide personal care and assistance to inpatients and outpatients of the University Hospital and monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight. Generally, I work as part of the bank team with other hospital personnel to provide total health and social care to patients.
I assisted the class coordinators in keeping the children safe and keeping the environment clean, tidy, and secure within the classroom and outside on the playground. I also assisted with meals, play, and sleep, ensuring the children were safe and happy.
As a Licensed Lay Minister, I assist with Church Services. I joined the attendees of the well-being weekly programme and served in the Church Café.
I supported people with learning disabilities in daycare and residential facilities. I helped them with personal care, cooking, cleaning, and taking them out for a walk or to have cakes and coffee! Generally, I ensured that they maintained their dignity and independence and enjoyed every bit of the day.
My responsibilities included the following:
I taught core education courses and basic French language to students in the School of Early Childhood Care and Primary Education. I also had administrative duties as a member of various committees in the institution, faculty, and department such as the Internally Generated Revenue Committee; Sports Committee; Staff Welfare Committee; Vetting Officer; Result Computation Officer; and Staff Adviser to students of the Department of Primary Education.
Organising training/workshops/conferences for clients in the public and private sectors; in-service training of primary school teachers as a consultant to the State Basic Education Board (a World Bank co-funded education agency).
My duties included sourcing for clients for the bank and maintaining their bank accounts; supervision of Relationship Officers; making sure that clients got customer satisfaction at all times; and maintaining the desired connection between the bank and the clients.
My responsibilities included supervision of I started with the bank as the Head of Customer Services. I was responsible for opening the accounts for new clients. I supervised the Tellers and had to cash out and cash in the legal tender. I was responsible for keeping the ledger for the Credit Clients. I later became a Branch Operations Manager and was responsible for supervising all the staff and the operations in the branch. This was to ensure that the operations of the bank ran smoothly daily. During that period, I was given an assignment by the Training School of the bank to train some of the Management Trainees. My last position was Business Development Manager, and I was responsible for liaising with the bank's Credit Clients, to assist them in their business, by securing loan facilities for them and also ensuring that they did not default in their repayment plans.
I was responsible for all administrative matters relating to staff and clients of the hospital; staff payroll management; supply of medical deliverables; ensuring that a conducive atmosphere was maintained; and liaising between the hospital and the clients (private and corporate).
I worked in various departments as follows: Accounts Office; Establishment Office; Currency Control Office; Banking Office; and Currency Office.
Information retrieval and dissemination regarding all areas of agriculture; editing of the Journal of Rural Development; and other assignments within my scope as handed to me by the Head of Department.
I taught secondary school students the French language.
