Objective: Improve sustainability through proper waste segregation and avoid financial penalties.
Method: Introduced targeted staff education and initiated monthly compliance audits (ongoing).
Progress: Compliance improved from 0% in May 2024 to 60% by October 2024, reaching 80% by March 2025.
Goal: Sustain >95% compliance to eliminate fines and ensure long-term environmental responsibility.

Objective: Standardize post-operative advice to support smoother educational and social reintegration for paediatric patients following surgery.
Method: Collected anonymized data on current post-operative guidance across surgical teams.
Findings: At my site, advice on returning to normal activities varied slightly by surgeon and intraoperative findings.
Next Steps: Multicentre data is being collated and will undergo collective analysis to inform future standardized guidance.
Audit – Management of Neonatal Jaundice

Objective: Assess management of neonatal jaundice in infants under 28 days, focusing on compliance with NICE guideline CG98.
Method: Retrospective audit of clinical practice against national standards.
