Accomplishments

Although my experience within the professional world has been limited due to my age, I have thrown myself at all endeavors and opportunities that were available throughout my time in education, to date, as well as in an extra-curricular setting.

    Form Representative (Madeley High School):

I represented my form, multiple times, throughout my time at Madeley High School- tasked with expressing my respective form group's queries and beliefs to the wider school community and leaders, working towards achieving change to benefit students.

    Art Ambassador (Madeley High School):

Within my last year at high school, I underwent the process to help introduce a new position to the school: Art Ambassador. During this time I was tasked with collaborating with a number of pupils, aging throughout the school, and (with them), promoting the art industry- and the careers that lie within it.

    Sports Captain (Madeley High School):

Within this role, I was tasked with organising groups, within my form, to participate and compete in various sports competition ran, both, internally and externally- acting as an accessible communicative link between sports teachers and my peers.

    "Xtra" (NSCG Newcastle College):

Soon after my enrollment, in September, I applied to become an Xtra, as the school refers to it. My role includes working at open events and acting as a personal representative of the college- often being the first physical contact that prospective students have. It is essential that I communicate effectively and clearly, and maintain a positive resilience throughout all that I do. As well as this, the role develops independence skills- emphasising the ability of taking initiative on behalf of a wider group of people, with best intentions in mind.

Student Representative NCSG (NSCG Newcastle College):

Another opportunity I have undertook within my time at college has been Student Representative. In this role, much alike in previous positions of mine, I am tasked with inquiring and reporting the queries and inputs of my tutor group, and communicating them in frequent meetings throughout the year with the management of the college. Within this role, it is of paramount importance that I engage in efficient communication, at all times, in order to achieve the greatest possible outcome for my peers, as well as the college.
