Ollie Woolaway

I am a semi-professional Dancer, working in various studios around the country, teaching Ballroom and Latin American dancing and have performed many shows.

Having been a UK finalist, I went on to represent my country at the World Championships, held in Disneyland Paris, selected to compete for Team GB, where we finished 3rd.

Dancing has taken me around the world, moving briefly to Poland during lockdown, where I trained with some of the best coaches and professionals in the world, returning just before they entered their national lockdowns. Unfortunately, my competitive partner and I then split, she returned to Russia.

I've subsequently taught alongside 3 time world champion, Katya Jones (aka Katya from Strictly), performed live on ITV 1 with “Strictly stand up for cancer” broadcast Christmas 2021, danced for the Queen live on TV with Strictly and have been on and offered various cruise contracts, performing my headline show.

I now teach some evenings and weekends, mostly in Southampton and Bournemouth, as I have returned to competitive dancing, as the experience of “Celebrity” was not for me.

These experiences, past and present, have given me many transferable skills, dealing with children, head teachers to business people.

My experience in dance has built customer relationship and rapport building skills which should hopefully be advantageous for any organisation.

• Started as Brand Ambassador, promoting and advertising the logo at dance events, then working on marketing projects.
• Delivered SEO services to customer locations within specific timeframes.
• Actively listened to colleagues requests, confirming full understanding before carrying out location mapping.
• Identified telephone codes, postcodes and mapped on Google My Maps.
• Completed Excel spreadsheets, including sorting data and embedding links to mapped data.
• Trained colleagues and worked within a team to enhance productivity.
• Resolved problems, improved operations and provided exceptional service.
• Used Microsoft Word, Excel and other software tools to create documents and other communications.
