  • Overall I would say I'm as comfortable up the tree (and the occasional mewp bucket) as I am on the ground running rigging ropes and operating big equipment.

  • I did all the mixing by hand so it was incredibly physical work.
  • Also as the general labourer I had to make sure the work area (often peoples homes) were absolutely spotless and all our tools were properly maintained/cleaned.

  • At brose I was in the department that made car seat rails for JLR.
  • This included using various different machinery such as : Riveting machines, Auto screw and bolting machines, Welding machines, Quality control checking machines, Pallet/pump trucks.
  • A lot of my time spent at brose was working in the quality control section of making seat rails, where I was tasked with checking recently fabricated seats.
  • I also worked in the packing area where I was tasked with safely packing the seats into containers and moving them safely around the factory floor.

  • A lot of my time working for John was at his home property which was a huge house with a cattery out back and a big bit of land.
  • My duties were usually of a groundsman nature, I would maintain his land and property such as cut grass, trim hedges, clear fallen debris from various trees around his land.
  • Other times while working for John I was a labourer at his building sites, so I worked with a lot of different tradesmen and learnt a lot of different skills from various trades.
