I started working at The Moon Under The Water without any previous experience working at pubs, so I quickly had to adapt to the high standards of cleanliness, quality and service of the highest performing pub in the company, alongside of learning a wide range of new skills and responsibilities.

Some of which include:

• I would very often have to multi task under pressure in the fast-paced environment which taught me to prioritise certain tasks and be able to complete them quickly yet efficiently
• I had to constantly be aware of health and safety risks such as, food contamination, allergies, any broken glasses, spillages or faulty equipment
• I performed bar and floor closing duties to the highest standards every night
• I was able to multi task between serving at the bar, taking out food and clearing the floor, quickly switching between each job depending on wherever I was most needed
• After I was fully trained myself, I went on to training new staff, taking my time to clearly explain everything in detail

My first job was working at a new, small business electrical shop from the age of 17 to 18 years old.

Some of my responsibilities included:

• Due to the store being quite new, out team focused on building a loyal customer base which meant I always offered really friendly customer service for the best customer satisfaction
• Occasionally, I was the only employee at the store which meant I had to multitask and use critical thinking to decide what I should prioritise
• I had the responsibility to close the store 5 days a week and sometimes open when needed
• Whenever I completed all my tasks and there where no customers, I would spend my time working on the stores website (https://evolution-ee.com/) which I taught myself to do through trial and error
• I approved customer refunds and exchanges as well as handled/ resolved any customer complaints/ concerns
• I handled all the stock responsibilities such as ordering stock, receiving orders, updating prices, inventory checks
