• Working in a Spanish tapas restaurant after college on a weekend. Here I am on till and on floor so I am always giving customer service, taking their food and drink orders as well as serving their food fixing any issues, they may have well ensured they have an amazing time and an enjoyable experience.

• During my time working in a Chinese takeaway, I was responsible for working the till and handling customer payments, both in person and through Just Eat orders. I developed effective communication and multitasking skills by managing multiple orders at once, ensuring each was packed accurately and efficiently. This role taught me the importance of attention to detail, teamwork, and providing friendly, fast service in a busy environment.

• During my college placement work experience at Hill View Primary School, I supported teachers and helped younger pupils with their daily activities and lessons. I assisted in the classroom by helping children with reading, writing, and basic maths tasks, and I also helped prepare materials for different activities. This experience allowed me to develop important skills such as communication, patience, and teamwork, as I worked closely with both staff and students. It gave me a better understanding of how a primary school operates and what it takes to create a positive and supportive learning environment. This experience would benefit me in a health and social care setting by improving my communication, patience, and ability to support others with different needs. It also helped me build confidence working as part of a team and understanding how to create a safe and positive environment for people.

One day a week i helped assist staff in providing care for residents to ensure comfort and inclusion in activities.
Engage with residents through conversation and support in daily activities to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Facilitate baking sessions with residents to promote social interaction and enjoyment.
Accompany residents on short walks with staff to encourage physical activity and fresh air.
Adhere to safeguarding guidelines to ensure safety, respect, and support for vulnerable residents.
