Mathematics and Statistics undergraduate student with strong performance in financial econometrics, statistical inference and probability. Seeking MSc study in Data Science and Financial Mathematics. Experienced in various statistical modelling approaches in R, with research project completed in ESG metrics and firm valuation.
My academic experience is best shown through my undergraduate dissertation, “Modelling the Relationship Between ESG Performance and Company Market Value.” This project involved analysing financial and ESG data to explore how sustainability metrics relate to firm valuation. Using R, I carried out data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and building regression and ARIMA time-series models. Beyond building models, I focused on evaluating model performance, understanding sensitivity and limitations, and interpreting results in a meaningful way. Presenting my findings in both written and oral formats strengthened my ability to communicate data-driven insights clearly and logically.
I am a current member of a competitive dance team and have competed at international level, including winning world championships. Balancing elite-level training and competition alongside full-time study reflects my discipline, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure. These are qualities that I believe translate well to a fast-paced working environment.
