During my 3rd year at Strathaven Academy, I participated in a childcare vocational qualification that involved me spending time in a local preschool nursery I gained valuable experience working with young children This role involved taking care of the children and engaging in learning activities I gained valuable experience ,working well under pressure, to meet the children's needs and ensuring they were well looked after and cared for I enjoyed being creative and building my confidence to multi task and make good working relationships with staff, children and their care givers
- Communication skills / team building
I have played football for the last 5 years for the local Dynamos under 16 football team This is an activity that I have thoroughly enjoyed as a hobby, but has also allowed me to grow other skills including my working as part of a team and developing my communication skills Clear communication with my team members and coaches is an area that I have excelled in and has build my confidence I feel that this can translate into dealing with customers
