I am an experienced Registered Children's Nurse with over 14 years of paediatric nursing experience at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where I currently work as a Band 6 Recovery Nurse. Throughout my career, I have cared for children with a wide range of complex medical and surgical needs within a specialist tertiary setting, developing strong clinical skills and confidence in caring for acutely unwell patients.
I am passionate about providing safe, compassionate, family-centred care and take pride in supporting children and their families through challenging times. Alongside my clinical role, I have enjoyed mentoring student nurses, being a preceptor to newly qualified staff, and contributing to the development of colleagues within the team.
I am now looking to broaden my experience within a new area of paediatric nursing, where I can build on my existing knowledge and skills while continuing to develop professionally and contribute positively to patient care and team development.
