Summary

Through the volunteer metropolitan police cadets I have volunteered for over five hundred hours of community events, e.g I have helped with the Greenwich mini marathon for three years in a row and volunteered for the danson park fireworks. I have also volunteered for weapon sweeps throughout south east London. The bexley unit which I was a part of won the Gravesend completion twice out of the 32 London boroughs which is the annual police cadet completion. I also got nominated for police cadet of the year for my dedication to the unit. Within my unit I have also gained rank which helps me use some of my skills such as communication to help some of the less experienced cadets. I have also been awarded a Jack Petchy award, as well as the deputy left lieutenant award for my many hours of volunteering and the time and dedication I have put towards cadets since joining junior cadets in 2021 and moving up to seniors in early 2023.
