Oliver Maynard

I currently work for Pure Estate Agents a trading name of the Northwood Southampton franchise.

I have been employed by them since April 2021 and in 2023 I took over a the Branch Manager, managing both sales, lettings and property management.

The role includes

• Managing Staff- day to day runnings of the office, 121 monthly meetings, sending weekly reports to the company director and owner, handling any complaints or queries across all three departments
• handling 80% of all valuations.
• Assisting the lettings team with inspections, inventories, holding fees and general property management.
• 50% of all viewings
• Sales progression- independently chased by myself and my team.
• Driving Google Reviews on every completion or let.

At the end of August 2019, Leaders promoted me further to a Sales Manager to a branch in Hedge End and to also manage the sales coming through their letting office in Sarisbury Green.

When I initially took over the branch it has made £35,000 year to date (as of August 2019) at the end of 2020 we had turned over from January to December £160,000 and had cut costs on expensive photography by doing it ourselves. For that year the office was the 5th most profitable nationally.

The role included

• Managing Staff- authorising holiday, 121 reviews, managing the day to day runnings of the department and staff.
• 100% of all Sales Valuations (converting over 70% for the year in 2020).
• Canvassing and touting business.
• Management meetings with the Area Manager
• Conducting viewings where required

In August 2016 I joined Leaders Estate Agents in Southsea as a Sales Negotiator. By December 2016 I won an award for the companies "Sales Negotiator of the year" covering Hampshire and Sussex and the same again in 2018. In 2017 I was promoted to a Senior Sales Negotiator.

The role included;

• Conducting 75% of all valuations
• Assisting the Sales Manager with managing the staff's day to day workings of the office.
• Sales chasing- chasing files through to the point of exchange
• Administration (Where required)
• Handling Houses of Multiple Occupancy, tenants and working with the lettings team to ensure tenant in situ properties were handled accordingly.
• Canvassing and touting local business.

I started Field Palmer, part time in January 2015 as a weekender whilst in school. In July 2015 I joined full time as an apprentice. In 2016 I completed my Level 2 Business and Administration NVQ.

The role included

• Registering applicants for properties to buy
• Conducting viewings independently (As of November 2015)
• Canvassing
• Touting the local competitors stock
• Administration (creating new sales files, submitting Anti Money Laundering reports, designing brochures and sending for client approval).
