Restaurant waiter
I am keen to undertake this apprenticeship after completing my GCSEs this summer to learn new skills and advance myself after leaving secondary school a job roll in engineering is with my best interests. I have good social and analytical skills, I am friendly and have the confidence to deal and interact face to face with people. A skill I have gained due to my working background. I am keen to learn and I am happy to work within a busy and challenging environment. I am committed and would love to build a lasting career with yourselves. I am interested in the engineering world and would love to be involved within how a large company works and its future success. I am a very practical person who loves to be hands on and get involved and not afraid of the working environment.
- At my current job at The Peacock at Cutthorpe I have been working efficiently within a team environment to ensure my job is completed to the best standard ensuring timely services. I deal with customer complaints, clear and prepare tables in an orderly fashion, replenish stock when low, clean up after closing times, serving food and taking payments for customers.
- I have also worked within a small local business helping refurbish houses - this has consisted of painting, wallpapering and demolition. This was during term time and I have been doing this for the last 2 years.
- Mission patterns engineering - In the school holidays I help doing work at mission patterns in Dronfield, painting patterns, cleaning, tidying, lifting and preparing jobs for delivery and supporting the staff in a busy workshop.
