I am currently a Year 11 student (16 years old) and i am keen to build further experience within a working environment, following my successful time as a Voluteer with the Deaf Blind UK team at Yaxley/Peteborough.

I was born in Southampton, Hampshire and moved with my family to Yaxley in 2021.

I am an organised and dependable candidate with a positive attitude.

I am willing to take on added responsibilities and work hard to develop the skills I will need for my future career. I am an enthusiastic individual with knowledge of resolving customer problems.

  • May 2024 (2 Weeks) - Work Experience with Deaf Blind UK Charity Peterborough
  • Nov 2024 - Following a successful application, period of Work Experience and turning 16 Years old - I was accepted as a Volunteer with the Deaf Blind UK Registered Charity - regularly attending and helping the Yaxley outlet with helping customers, Managing Cash transactions, Merchandising/Displays, cleaning, organising and sorting through donations, Working as a member of a team to keep the store well run and customers happy and safe.
  • Confident communicator and comfortable talking with people of my own age and adults - I have developed this through years of competing with the Southampton Fencing & Oundle & Peterborough fencing clubs where we are encouraged to interact and compete against any age group (ranging from 8-60+) as well as my work experience in a charity shop.
  • I am willing to be as flexible around hours of work, However I will need to consider my school commitments and sporting activities (Fencing at a Regional and National level across the UK).
  • I am polite, reliable and thoughtful
  • I demonstrate approachability , respect, friendliness & willingness to help others wherever I can and regularly help out at school and at home when requested.

  • Proficuent in using computers, primarily with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, MS Access, Teams) and have a good understanding of the use of Python and CAD( Computer Aided Design)
  • I am an active member of the OPS Fencing Club, participating in the Sport for over 9 years - Competing at regional and National Competition level
  • Excited by Maths, Biology and ICT - intend to take these at A-Level this coming September at Sawtry Village Academy 6th Form
  • Represented Great Britain at Cadet Level(U17), travelling to Multiple European venues to compete - am working towards this level at Junior (U20) this season
  • I am a Qualified Level 2 Epee Fencing Referee and regularly referee at Competitions, where I am not competing
  • Enjoy music & play the clarinet in my spare time to relax - doing this for approximately 6 years A member of the Sawtry Village Academy Orchestra - participating in regular practise and prep for school concerts over the year
  • I am an animal lover and regularly exercise, feed and care for our 2 family dogs and a pet cockatiel
