I'm a 17 year-old who is looking to begin a journey into motorsport, my ultimate goal would be to be part of the strategy team. This role interests me as data analysis and quick problem solving both excite me and therefore I feel I could contribute to the Cadillac teams aspirations.
My data analysis skills improved when I was fortunate enough, during my two week work experience in China, with JIG UK Ltd where I worked to solve problems with suppliers and used data to analyse and demonstrate what the root causes of issues were and how we could resolve them.
I feel as if motorsport is a great opportunity for me to pursue my passion for the sport and put my quick thinking, teamwork and clear communication skills to good use.
I've been working as a referee for over a year now, this has allowed me to develop my communication skills with a variety of age groups. As some games have linesman and others don't, both my independent and teamwork abilities are being demonstrated in real-life situations. There has only been one occasion in this time period where I've been forced to pull out of a game due to illness which shows my dedication and commitment to the job that I do. My quick thinking skills have developed with this role, dealing with conflict not only with players but also adults and parents.
