Nursery volunteer
My experience working at a nursery taught me a bunch of skills I can use in engineering. I got really good at time management because I had to plan my whole day — like when to water plants, when to move stuff around, and how to fit in unplanned tasks without falling behind. It also showed me how everything in a nursery is connected, kind of like a system. I learned how to think through problems step by step, pay close attention to details, and stay patient even when things don’t go as planned. All of that helped me work better under pressure and find efficient ways to get things done.
