- During this period, some of my activities in the various departments are as listed below: Paediatrics: I was involved in the management of paediatric emergencies such as cerebral malaria, severe dehydration, febrile convulsions and severe anaemia.
- I was actively involved in correction of fluid and electrolyte imbalance, blood transfusion, exchange transfusion and nutritional therapy for malnourished children.
- I developed skills like IV cannulation, passing of NG tubes, catheterization and phlebotomy of children including neonates and preterm babies.

- I was also involved in management of emergencies like preeclampsia, eclampsia, antepartum haemorrhage and postpartum haemorrhage to mention a few.

- I worked with my seniors to offer counselling to patients including counselling on family planning, contraception.
