This study explored the perceptions of school principals regarding the causes, types, effects, and preventive measures of drug abuse among secondary school students. Utilizing a descriptive survey design with a four-point Likert scale questionnaire, the study identified key factors contributing to drug abuse, including accessibility of drugs and poor awareness. The findings highlighted the impact of drug abuse on absenteeism, school dropout rates, and violence. It concluded with recommended strategies for prevention, including media campaigns, school-based counselling, and awareness programs., Questionnaire design, descriptive survey methodology, Likert scale, data analysis using mean score.
