• Owner & Operator – Independent Property Management Business: Founded and operate a self-run rental property business, managing a diverse portfolio of short- and long-term rentals. Oversee all aspects of operations including tenant relations, vendor coordination, property maintenance, marketing, and financial management. Demonstrate high levels of initiative, strategic planning, and self-motivation in building and sustaining a profitable enterprise. Skilled in negotiating contracts, managing turnovers, and coordinating cross-functional teams to maintain high occupancy and property standards.

• Emergency Management Subject Matter Expert, organizing and coordinating regional interagency partners for all-hazards responses. Leads and supervises 12 direct reports and manages reserve for personnel, mobilization readiness, and compliance of 203 members. Directs the Ready for Operations program, ensuring emergency readiness and standardization of 12 sub-units.

• Led all U.S. Coast Guard maritime law enforcement operations for the West Coast of Florida, overseeing division of 15 personnel, 4 ships, 5 stations, 30 small boats, and all law enforcement boarding teams. Ensured commercial vessel compliance with federal laws, including marine environmental protection and sanitation regulations. Enforced regulations related to passenger capacity, vessel safety equipment, and pollution control. Coordinated with port authorities and industry stakeholders to maintain compliance across one of the nation’s busiest coastal regions.

• MSRT Direct Action Section Commander, team of 30 personnel, within U.S. Coast Guard’s elite special operations unit focused on counterterrorism and high-risk maritime interdiction. First woman to hold this role, leading a Direct Action Section through advanced tactical missions and joint training with U.S. Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) at Camp Lejeune. Training included close quarters combat, helicopter and small boat insertions, and advanced maritime assault tactics.

• Led all administrative and logistical support for the Admiral’s public and interagency engagements, including managing official travel, press coordination, and oversight of a $188K operational budget. Developed speeches, talking points, and official correspondence to prepare the Admiral for high-level meetings and public appearances. Played a key role in advancing Arctic maritime policy during a critical period of environmental change, contributing to strategy around increased commercial vessel traffic through the Arctic Circle. Supported initiatives focused on safety, security, and environmental impacts—such as pollution risks and the need for expanded search and rescue infrastructure—providing direct insight into evolving maritime environmental regulations and operational readiness.

• Senior Watch Duty Officer, led Search and Rescue operations along the U.S.-Canada maritime border, coordinating with Canadian forces and deploying assets to rescue individuals at sea, oversaw watch team of 5 personnel charged with ship and aircraft launch management. Managed 12-hour shifts, made critical decisions under pressure, and briefed senior U.S. Coast Guard leadership, including the Admiral, on daily operations.

Responsible for the safe navigation of a 378-foot high-endurance cutter, standing 8 hours of watch daily under the authority of the Commanding Officer. Lead navigation planner, managed 8 personnel in nautical chart corrections, route development, and voyage execution. Oversaw all radio communications and coordinated air operations as both Landing Signal Officer and Air Traffic Control Officer for embarked helicopters. Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) with extensive experience enforcing and complying with international maritime environmental regulations, including MARPOL, SOLAS, and HAZWOPER. Played a key role in the cutter’s environmental compliance, including oversight of waste management, potable water production, and hazardous material handling.
