Summary

I am an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist currently working at Reaside clinic. I have been able to enhance my knowledge throughout my time fulfilling the role of an occupational therapist. I have done this by; individualizing treatment plans, utilizing different therapeutic techniques, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. I take pride in providing patients with an improved quality of life and independence. This has been done by understanding the occupational therapist's unique contribution to client care by delivering theory-based practice and interpreting the importance of an individual's needs. Along with this it was important for me to develop my knowledge about the human mind and body to ensure that I can empathize with a client and deliver safe effective practice. All of the learning and training carried out throughout my course has allowed me to reflect and give clinical reasoning behind the interventions carried out with a client. This ensures that the approach used is client-centred, compassionate and committed to improving quality of life.
