TEKNE - Poole January 2025 to Present.

I completed my NVQ level 2 and became a qualified Bench Joiner, working in a busy workshop and have also worked out on various sites like the “Ivy” restaurant in Bournemouth. I have learnt to read plans and technical drawings, assemble products such as furniture ensuring accuracy and quality for clients.

I have worked out on sites representing the company and upholding the values and reputation whilst working to strict timescales. I have also learnt to use both hand and power tools in a safe manner and the basic Health and Safety requirements of site work. I am dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of Health & Safety as this has been instilled in me.

TEKNE - Poole. August 2022 to December 2024.

As an apprentice Bench Joiner I have learnt various woodworking techniques including cutting, shaping and joining wood, having to work to half a millimetre tolerance. This was predominately in our large busy workshop but also at times on sites and some days attended at Southampton college.

I have learnt to read plans and technical drawings, assemble products such as furniture ensuring accuracy and quality for clients.

I have worked out on sites such as the Ivy at Bournemouth representing the company and working to strict timescales.

I have also learnt to use both hand and power tools in a safe manner and the basic Health and Safety requirements of site work.
