I am a dedicated yoga practitioner with a passion for community engagement and holistic well-being. I have mostly been teaching at Hot Yoga Brixton, The Yoga Quarter in Holloway but have also covered classes elsewhere.
My journey into yoga began as a personal practice, but over the years, it has evolved into a profound commitment to sharing its transformative benefits with others. I firmly believe in the power of yoga to enhance physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance, and I am deeply committed to making these benefits accessible to individuals of all abilities.
I am adept at developing tailored lesson plans and learning strategies to accommodate diverse needs and learning styles.
Moreover, I am deeply committed to fostering a culture of equality, inclusion, and accessibility within the learning environment. I believe in the importance of creating a safe and welcoming space where all individuals, regardless of background or ability, feel valued and respected. I am dedicated to promoting equal access to yoga and am passionate about supporting people in their journey of finding a safe space, aligning their breath and movement and learning more about yogic philosophy going beyond asana.
In addition to my current yoga teaching experience, my previous work experience leading meditation sessions with people with Dementia. I am also proficient in keeping detailed records, maintaining online registers, and taking care of administration. I understand the importance of effective communication and collaboration, and I am committed to working closely with other teachers, community partners, and clients to ensure my classes run smoothly and provide a safe and beautiful space for people to practice.
