I have been working here since July 2025 and have gained valuable experience, including completing cash-up procedures and managing the closing operations of a large retail store. Throughout my role, I have been entrusted with essential duties, from handling daily transactions to conducting cash-ups and carrying out management-level operations such as refunds, voids, and end-of-day financial closures. This role has also strengthened my leadership skills, allowing me to act as a senior point of contact on the shop floor in the absence of management, support new starters, and set a high standard for the team. Additionally, working within an elevated luxury retail environment has deepened my product knowledge and enhanced my understanding of visual merchandising—specifically, identifying key selling items, optimising their placement, and contributing to strategies that drive sales and help the store achieve its targets.

I worked in this store from October 2024 - July 2025 and found it to be a very high standard store which has kept me focused. This has enabled me to become versatile and multiskilled, as of how busy the store is as I was to focus on helping clients, but to also maintain standards, ensuring the store is always looking top notch. The job is commission based and so has kept me active and have learnt to work at a very fast pace because of the competitive environment and people. As a result I have become an efficient, skilled seller, with a strong mentality, and even making up to 150K revenue Part-time in 3 months of working here from October - December.

Moss Bros - Sales Associate

I worked here from January 2023 to October 2024. This workplace gained various skills as I was face to face with customers who needed advice on sizing, colours and many styling options. This role equipped me with a wide range of skills such as knowledge of fashion, creativity, ability to communicate, and also measuring to create bespoke suits. This made me an essential employee as I dealt with a very high responsibility, dealing with people's wedding's, sizing the groom for a bespoke suit, and choosing the styles to fit for them and as well as the rest of the party. Additionally, I also gained experience outside of the workplace, as I was involved in a Photoshoot to display the Company's clothing which I had to travel for. Furthermore, we also were assigned targets which if we were to hit, an incentive and bonus was given to all employees which gained me the ability to work as a team together to hit a store target.
