Carlisle Southern Link By Pass - Managed multiple civil engineering teams across five areas for drainage and culvert installations. The Principal Contractor was Galliford Try

Newman Catholic School, Carlisle - Two projects for this client. The first was changing room extension and the second was a new reception. Both projects were delivered on time during summer holidays.

Tesco, Penrith - Managed the construction of a new Tesco retail store, delivering successfully within six months.

Pirelli Factory, Carlisle - Project Managed a concrete floor slab installation for Pirelli, utilizing over 60 tons of reinforcement steel and 800m3 of concrete. Project delivered ahead of schedule.

Port of Workington - Site Managed the construction and delivery of a new portal steel framed storage warehouse for Cumbria County Council.

B&M Stores, Maryport - Site Managed a new garden centre and an extension to the existing store. The whole project was undertaken whilst the store was fully 'live'. This was a very challenging project, mainly due to the limited access, storage, and working around the public.

Home Group, Maryport - Site Managed a refurbishment of a residential project. The work involved, full internal fit out, re-roofing and full external wall insulation, along with render, and cement board cladding.

Home Group, Penrith - Site Managed another residential project for Home Group. This is the refurbishment of flats for social housing

Site Manager on a High End Residential Scheme on Windermere Marina. The project included 24 apartment buildings within a 3 story block and 2 detached town houses. This was a 1 week holiday cover position that lasted 7 weeks

Site Manager on a £15.2 million Extra Care Housing scheme in Oxenholme, Kendal.

This project involved the building of 24 bungalows and a 80 bedroom, 3 storey apartment building. This was an agency position. Initially, I was on a 1 week holiday cover, but was asked to stay and was there for over 5 months

During this period, I was employed by Thomas Armstrong Construction as a Site Manager for holiday and sick leave cover.

I was tasked with full managerial responsibilities for various projects over a 3 month period.

During this period, I worked for local construction companies on a freelance basis. I was tasked with full management responsibilities for various projects including:

• A large landscaping and groundwork’s project
• Maintenance and small works for local schools and retirement homes
• Drainage and Groundworks scheme for a local school
• A full renovation of a farmhouse and adjoining cottage
• A large extension to a house in the Lake District National Park.
