In the last couple of years I have learned a lot about managing, processes, people.
I have managed more than 40 employees/year in the last 3 years. I had to authorise holidays, keep records of sickness and unpaid leaves, order uniform, set KPIs and check if they were achieved, update Time Moto (for drivers' hours) and authorise wage payments. I have also conducted R2W and 121s interviews, chaired sickness absence formal review meetings, fact finding and disciplinary meetings, set personal and team objectives for myself and the personnel I was managing.
Working for a vehicle hire company helped me to have a great geographical memory, I learned to work with applications such as Fleet Plus (IT Fleet), Dynamics 365, Key 2, Time Moto and the most common ones, Excel, Word, Power Point.
I have managed to implement new ideas in my department for saving money in fuel consumption, helping the company to reduce the costs of deliveries/collections.
I have given my full support to my entire team and I was available at anytime, for everyone.
Managing 2 logistics administrators, 1 planner, 6 driver champions with teams of 6 or 7 drivers each, made me realise I can work very well under the pressure of time and under the pressure of results.
