I'm an energetic 26-year-old working in HR Monday to Friday and in a kitchen Saturday to Sunday, looking to build a career in an incredible restaurant.
I have experience working in restaurants, currently working weekends at a Manchester brunch spot, previously working at a Chef de Partie for a summer in one of the most well-regarded restaurants on my home island of Guernsey. I’ve also worked for catering companies and on supermarket counters.
I'm relaxed, positive and a hard worker, a team player and very much care about doing a job to the best of my ability. I work to continually improve and always believe that’s possible.
I began my career in HR with a desire to make a positive impact. Now I'm ready to channel that commitment into a field I'm truly passionate about. I adore cooking and experimenting to find new ways to expand the dishes I love the taste of, while keeping up to date with all the new trends.
Having trialed working in a kitchen as a weekend job, I've acclimated to the hours and pace of a kitchen environment, but I'd like to really challenge myself, learn new techniques to prepare and serve fresh ingredients and build a career as a chef in a dynamic restaurant.
