I'm currently on secondment as a Customer Experience Trainer. My job role is to deliver training to brand new colleagues to the company. I also deliver refresher training to existing colleagues.

My role is very varied. I have to prepare resources needed for course material. I have to understand and deliver the training to learners.

I also have to mark and scan assessments for different courses. I communicate with different departments for varying reasons.

I send assessments to HR to be filed. I contact line managers with results of plans of action to support colleagues.

I am in charge of the gateline course. I do updates and make sure all the information is correct and relevant for that course.

I am currently working with Adecco agency staff, getting their training material up to date to deliver to new members of staff.

Revenue Protection Assistant

My role as a Revenue Protection Assistant was varied. It was a customer service based role. I could board trains at any station on the South Western Rail network and check all tickets of our passengers.

I was trained to deal with ticket irregularities by way of issuing and unpaid fares notice. I could issue penalty fare notices and also write reports for prosecution.

I could be based at a specific train station checking tickets of all passengers entering or exiting a station.

I would help with passenger enquiries and anything that was asked of me.
