I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with extensive experience in both general health care, EOL care and mental health care. After finishing school I started my career in healthcare and I continue to love learning new things and I am always keen to expand on my knowledge, skills and experience and would love to be able to work as a member of this team if given the opportunity. I am hardworking and extremely organised and able to time manage effectively to achieve the best possible individualised and collaborative care. Prior to working in a nursing home i worked for the NHS at Meadowbrook Hospital Greater Manchester West Mental Health Trust as a nursing assistant then I was seconded to do my nurse training where i achieved a first class honours degree in mental health nursing and continued there as an RMN (collectively 2005-2016).


The NHS is where i developed my passion for nursing and caring for people in a person centred way however i wanted a change into nursing home care. I believe each person is integral to planning their care and i will strive to help each and every person achieve an optimal and excellent level of care whether it be for the last few hours or even minutes of their life or whether they live for many more years safely, happily and fulfilled in a place they call home.
