  • I moved internally to a wider role across all of the Randstad Brands post-merger in the newly Global Client Services Team then into the new Sourceright MSP business.
  • I was charged with creating agreements covering all of Randstad’s operating divisions (Finance, IT, Engineering, HR, Business Support etc) with new and existing £1m GP+ clients.

  • Randstad acquired Vedior (the holding company of BBT) in 2007, in 2009 it merged the BBT and Hill McGlynn businesses.
  • Both companies were large UK recruitment businesses that specialised in construction, property, and engineering markets.
  • As part of that process, we restructured the branch network and personnel.
  • I had the challenge of change managing the integration process from a BBT perspective (IT, staff, clients, payroll, and name change) as well as knit two businesses together.
  • I reported directly to the BBT board and was part of the company operations team.
  • I took on many special projects for the business including rolling out new IT development and setting up new business streams.
  • I directly managed BBT’s Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Bristol, Cambridge and London
  • Grew to over 70 staff members
  • P+L responsibility for £20m TO
  • Ran niche Geotechnical, Environmental and Water divisions
  • 2 x Manager of the year winner
  • 5 x VIP award winner
  • Set up 2 new offices and 8 new business streams for BBT including Waste, Energy and Facilities Management
