I left Military college and at the age of 16 i joined the British Army and started my career at the Army Foundation College which has given me an excellent start to my working life. I learnt quickly that team work and communication with each other is an essential skill and i continue to work well as part of a team.
I am currently serving with the Queens Royal Lancers and have been in the British Army for over 6 years now and this is a role that i have really enjoyed.
I have shown myself and my superiors the skills that I have developed and have been selected to help and mentor junior soldiers and support them with their training and wellbeing. I have also been selected to represent the British Army in specialist deployments and also within sports and I feel proud about this.
I'm disciplined and dedicated, possessing strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities. I feel skilled in physical fitness and tactical planning and can demonstrate resilience and quick decision-making skills under pressure.
I feel that i have lots of transferable skills and attributes that I can apply in the job that I'm applying for.
I have always been praised for being able to support my colleagues and I find it easy to get on with people and able to build on peoples strengths in difficult situations.
My Army career has helped me greatly with my own confidence and I'm reliable and am always on time and i feel that i would be an asset to any team.
