  • Managing a SOC upgrade project to widen the coverage of a Splunk SIEM solution to include the Travis Perkins AWS and GCP cloud environments as well as the full on-prem (Windows / Linux) estate
  • Supporting the rollout of a managed third-party MDR SOC solution including the integration between both ServiceNow instances
  • Daily reporting of progress & issues to senior stakeholders including CISO and CIO
  • Delivery of a successful POC and subsequent implementation of a XM Cyber AD analysis and hardening solution across the Travis Perkins domains

  • Successfully led the deployment of a SIEM solution using Splunk technology and on-boarding of applications before handing over operations to the UK SOC team
  • Led the deployment of an automated server patching platform based on BMC Bladelogic technology
  • The scope of the project initially included 10,000 servers, databases and network devices in the VF UK IT estate and was integrated with Tenable Nessus Vulnerability Management
  • Successfully delivered a security solution for the mobile VF-UK DNS estate built around F5 BIG-IP and BIG-IQ architecture
  • This was deployed into 5 key MTX sites in the UK mobile estate and successfully transitioned into the Technical Operations teams for BAU service.
