Born in Suva, Fiji, with a long line of military family background, Netani chose a different path and moved to New Zealand for college rugby, where he joined the Counties Manukau Academy. Over his illustrious career, he captained Fiji in the 2011 Rugby World Cup, played in three World Cups, and amassed over 200 professional club games in the UK Following retirement, he transitioned into coaching, blending his experience with a passion for fitness, and mentoring youths through sports, instilling discipline, respect, work ethic, and a professional attitude
