Callaghan Innovation Library Project: $16M value

Internal demolition of 5-floor existing library to base build and seismic strengthening upgrade to the whole building as well as a new plantroom & Interior fit out across all floors with a full M&E upgrade to suit the office space.

Roles:

• Lead weekly Health and Safety Toolbox meetings on site with trades & promoting a positive safe working culture
• Undertake weekly HSE Audits of site as well as reviewing Subcontractors HSE folders
• Issue and close daily permits for any high risk activities undertaken on site by the subcontractors
• Maintain high standards of quality control and ensured compliance with the specifications
• Liaising with the various consultants to resolve any design issues or facilitate design changes on site
• Undertake weekly site meetings with the client and consultants and report on progress and resolve any issues from previous site reports
• Update the target programme and communicate to various trades to ensure timely completion
• Manage project budgets and allocate labour resources efficiently.

7 Waterloo Quay Facade Repair and Maintenance: $14M value

Installation of Scaffold and shrinkwrap around a fully tenanted building

Asbestos removal works prior to commencement of works.

Concrete repairs to the external facade and parapets.

Installation of Fall Arrest systems on all floors.

Installation of waterproofing membrane on all external parapets

Roles:

• Chaired daily logistics meetings with trades
• Undertake weekly HSE Audits of site as well as reviewing Subcontractors HSE folders
• Sectional reporting of my areas/trades to the PM to ensure an accurate update to the project timeline
• Update and maintain the Asbestos register on site
• Issue RFI’s to various consultants and ensure the business has cost recovery for any design changes
• Issue QA reports to the architect and ensure sign-off prior to stripping scaffold.

• Photographing and recording milestones on site for quality assurance purposes
