Independent technician manages Engineering Department, decision maker and work hand in hand with supply chain management and asset management on doing asset verification, ordering and purchasing of equipment.
To provide a safe and cost effective Clinical Engineering service to the hospital and to all institutions that may request such services to ensure optical service delivery.
Utilize, control and manage all the Clinical Engineering Departmentʼs resources to ensure optical functionality of all medical equipment on levels on an ongoing basis.
To provide expert support/ assistance to colleagues.
Service, maintain and repair all medical equipment used in the Hospital sector.
Conduct daily and weekly report about troubleshooting faults on equipment, replacement of components, parts/spares and accessories.
Installation of software, instruments, testing and calibration is done on all equipment.
Responsible for every call outs of every medical equipment in the hospital that needs attention, repair, maintenance and service.
Make sure all equipmentʼs remain in good working condition, serviced and repaired in-house by doing rounds in every unit every day.
Planning and scheduling of services and preventive maintenance.
