I gained experience in handling complex cases, analysing policies, and negotiating with organisations to achieve positive outcomes for consumers while furthering skills in communication, problem-solving, and regulatory awareness, with a commitment to ethical standards and customer rights. In my time there, I became adept at building trust with diverse stakeholders while managing high caseloads efficiently and maintaining attention to detail.

While working in McDonald's, I progressed to the role of Shift Manager for my final two years. This role incorporated responsibilities such as team supervision, operational management, scheduling, and delivering an exceptional customer service. Through this role and its responsibilities, I developed my pre-existing skills in problem-solving through effective communication, while also acquiring new skills in leadership and conflict resolution. From this, I was able to consistently meet monthly sales metrics and achieve customer satisfaction goals within the store.

Around my studies, I also served part-time as a telethon caller for the University of Strathclyde's Alumni Fund. This role consisted of engaging with graduates about their own graduation and subsequent career, seeking to receive donations for the Alumni Fund. I demonstrated adaptability in addressing donor concerns, maintaining professionalism under pressure, and using my persuasive communication and relationship-building skills to deliver significant fundraising targets. I collaborated with my team to refine call scripts and strategies, and our work was instrumental in funding student projects, scholarships, and numerous building improvements.
